i loved it if you like lots of info while also enjoying the storey this one actually made me cry but the heroin is a strong capable woman with too many weighty complacations to deal with sorry guys cliffhanger waiting for book two the return with bated breath . this review is obscure because it must be read ill not ruin it for you.hurry up lisa .i wish i was one of your betas.lucky ducks.
The beginning was a bit slow but it was worth sticking with it because it setup the rest of the story. I couldn't put it down and I cannot wait for the next book in this particular series! Waiting most impatiently!!!
This is one of the best books I've read in a very long time. Lisa Marie Keck has a gift with the way she writes, drawing you in deeper with each word until you're hopelessly addicted. I highly recommend this book and I cannot wait to read the sequel!

Because it was free and because it had so many positive reviews I thought I'd give this a try. Boy was that a mistake it was a mind numbing story with unbelievable unlikeable characters. And it has more typos then any book I've ever read clearly it wasn't edited it was just thrown together and it's obvious by the lack of quality in the story.
I must say Lisa Marie Keck is my new all time favorite indie author. I absolutely love this series. The character development is fantastic. The story isn't rushed so you actually get to feel like you know each character. I cried during the first 4 to 5 chapters. I love that while the story is fantastical she makes Hannah so relatable to real life. I started this book and didn't put it down until I was through reading it. This book along with " Cast in iron" are the only books that I have ever actually re-read, and I loved them more the second time then I did the first. Keep up the great work lisa I cannot wait to read what you come up with next, I am so excited for the rest of this series. Happy reading!!!)
